who we are
My name is Theresa my friends and family call me Terri. I am the founder of Goldee’s Consulting and Coaching Services, LLC (named after my great-great grandmother).
As a teenager, I gave birth to twin boys, one who since birth is blind, nonverbal, and diagnosed with intellectual disability. As a young adult I worked full time and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology and a master’s degree in criminal justice with a concentration in Behavior Management and Justice. I also hold an associate’s degree in paralegal studies. As an adult I obtained a certification in Life Coaching. For the last 25 years, I dedicated my time to help others live their best lives regardless of their circumstance.
As a senior level manager working in the profit and non-profit sector, I was able to assist organizations with transforming their services into a person-centered and strength-based model that supported our underserved population through training, panel discussions, and workshops. These services were offered to at risk youth, individuals diagnosed with mental illness, intellectual disabilities, and substance abuse. I was instrumental with developing policies and curriculums; identify and implement KPI’s; multimillion-dollar budgets; and successfully lead agencies growth and development goals.
As a member of the community, I was able to remove stereotypes and stigmas associated with underserved community members through motivational speaking, workshops, panel discussions and seminars targeting community stakeholders.
And as a person who overcame adversity, diversity, and trauma, I was able to mentor and coach individuals to see their potential and to their lives with a purpose. My work is not done but I welcome you to utilize my personal and professional experience in a non-therapeutic, self-directed, and empowering journey that will help you explore your true self.
